Mathews Rosevilla basically an Army Veteran, who hails from Kerala, is currently a voluntary Social worker. He is the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Jai Jawan Education Society under which runs Mother Theresa School at Pune(where 1600 economically weaker students are taught at a very reasonable /conecessional rate of fees), Dnyanamruth Vidya Mandir(A CBSE School opening shortly at 14 acers of land), Surabhi Goshala(where deshi breed of cows are looked after), “ New Life – A Senior Citizen Home & Orphanage(prposed) at Palasdev Indapur. Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta who glorified the name of God by her charitable work throughout her lifetime and the Messiah of the downtrodden is our inspiration. As a tribute and honor to her, the Society started an English Medium School in her name, thus educating the “last and the least of the Society” whom she loved and cared for the most. Since students are good medium of communication we conduct students’ padyatra twice in a year to motivate general public on various issues like “Beti Bachao Beti Padao”, “100% Voting”, “Daru Chodo Dudh Pio”, “Save Water Save Electricity”, “Clean Pune Green Pune”, “Kare Yog Rahe Nirog”, “Plant Tree & Save the Earth”. We also serve Annadan every month to economically weaker people

He was also Zilla Prabhari of Bharat Swabhiman Trust(founded by Parampujya Swami Ramdev Maharaj) and an active member of Patanjali Yog Samiti, Pune for the past 12 years. He had conducted more than 200 Yog shibirs for the general public and taught yoga to more than 2 lakhs people under the direction of Param Pujya Yog Rishi Swami Ramdev Maharaj. He was teaching Yoga to 4,000 prisoners in Yerwada Central Jail in Pune continuously for 1 year in 2015, and also taken Parampujya Swami Ramdev Maharaj to the Jail. He is also associated with Sankrit Bharati, Sangh Pariwar, various Ex Servicemen Groups at Pune and nearby areas.
The Maharashtra Government has appointed him as Special Executive Officer. His Excellency Mar Thomas Elevanal, Bishop of Kalyan and Shri Dada Yadavao, Minister of Sainik Welfare, Maharashtra Government has honored him for his Social Work. Mr. Mathews has received SERA/VERA Award 2010 given by Rotary International, Rotary Club, Pune Riverside on a recognition to his dedicated service to the mankind. He received GauravPadak from Pune Municipal Corporation. He also received a prestigious award from “World Malayalee Council” for running “Outstanding Education Institution”.He has been awarded Atoot Bandhan Yog Ratna Award 2015, for his yoga activities by a popular magazine/newspaper from Delhi. He is recipient of “Sanskruti Gurukulam Jwala Award- 2015 by Jwala Award Committee, Mumbai. He also awarded “Nation Builder Award 2018” by Uttar Bharatiya Sangh and Rotary Club, Pune Riverside, for his Nation building work. He has also received National Education Excellence Award 2023 by 3rd National Edutech Innovative Summit (NEIS) And Awards-2023. He also received a Certificate of Honor of his services for Bravery, Dedication, Patriotism, Honesty and Integrity towards our Motherland India by Officer Career Academy Pune on Eve of 24th Kargil Vijay Divas.
